Sam Smith has found all they need.
The "Stay With Me" singer shared a kiss with boyfriend Christian Cowan after lunch date in Manhattan's West Village neighborhood Oct. 14.
Sam kept it casual for the outing, wearing dark blue jeans and black shirt paired with a colorful cardigan. As for Christian, the fashion designer looked stylist is baggy jeans, a white button down and a leather jacket, which he paired with a blue baseball cap.
The couple shared a few laughs as they strolled down the sidewalk before stopped for some PDA.
Sam and Christian were first spotted together in December 2022, although they did not confirm their relationship until this past May when they walked the Met Gala red carpet together in custom matching looks that Christian, 28, had designed.
The Grammy winner shared a photo of their suits to Instagram, writing in the caption, "Side by side, always."
Aside from their Met Gala outing, the couple have kept their romance out of the spotlight, which was an intentional decision by Sam and their past public romances.
"I have had relationships where I've shared stuff online and talked about it here and there," the 32-year-old told GQ U.K. in 2022. "And I just don't want to do that."
They added, "I think being loved by someone is such a gift—for yourself. And I think my job can get in the way of that—the purity of that love – sometimes."
Noting that they have "been incredibly lucky" in the falling in love department, Sam said that their choice to keep their romances private stemmed from the "Unholy" singer slowly starting to feel more comfortable about themselves as well.
"Over the last few years, as I've become confident in my skin, I've got loads of wonderful romantic attention," they explained. "It's been incredible. I'm so open to it. And I know what I want and I know who I am and I'm excited for that. I've decided that I will always keep that private now."
